Statement of Purpose

The purpose of CCS Athletics is to ensure that every participant is a winner by:

Sharing the love of Jesus Christ with each player, coach, referee, family member, spectator and opponent

Helping every player grow as Jesus did - physically, mentally, socially and spiritually

Helping every play develop character, understanding of sportsmanship and a respect for authority in any situation on and off the court

Helping every player develop self-esteem and a strong sense of personal value

Teaching every player solid foundational fundamentals of their respective sport and helping each athlete grow in understanding and enjoyment of the sport

Administration

The CCS Athletic Director provides oversight and direction to all athletic offerings for CCS students. The Athletic Director works with school personnel on a day-to-day basis to ensure that each player maintains his/her eligibility status for his/her respective sport.

Eligibility Requirements

All players must have completed a Physical Examination and Sports Medical Form. Click on form name in red and print. Please have it filled out by your doctor prior to tryouts. If your doctor has their own physical examination,forms they are also acceptable in lieu of the attached form. These forms are to be returned to the Athletic Director and must be maintained on file in the CCS office. There is a $150 sports fee per student per sport to be paid before the season begins.

Students in 5th though 12th grades seeking to participate in the CCS Athletics program must maintain an average grade of “C” or higher in core classes. Once on a team, students must maintain a “C” average to remain active on the team.
